This tells the story of Lois’s return to visit her childhood home, Single Hill in 2004. It covers the history and geography of the Single Hill farm, Lois and Neville’s childhood there, the history of the Tasmanian Aboriginal people, the impact of World War II, the farm’s orchards, the impact of the 1967 ‘Black Tuesday’ bushfires and the sale of the farm. It includes photographs.
